With the economy getting back on its feet, it’s hard to find good personnel. There is a new generation on the job market and they are less motivated by money and more by a purpose.
By the year 2020 more than half of possible employees on the job market are millennials. A lot has been written about this generation. In 2011 PwC published a research conducted with more than 4000 students - in their final term and looking for a job - from over 75 countries. One of the things that came from this research is that millennials are driven by a purpose. They feel like they want and need to contribute to the world and to something greater than themselves. Having a clear “WHY” for your brand is an important first step into inspiring your future employees to come and work for you.
