How do you make hygiene in food production an inspiring story? That was the challenge Elpress brought to us. They wanted more than just another corporate film – they wanted something meaningful, something that resonated. And it all started with one simple question: Why?

The question

Our collaboration with Elpress kicked off with a WHY Reveal Session, designed to uncover the core motivation behind everything they do. The result? A powerful brand foundation that didn’t just inspire their marketing efforts but also unified their team and strengthened their customer relationships.

Elpress WHY:

To give people the peace of mind that comes with knowing their food is produced in a safe and clean environment so they can live their lives to the fullest.

A strong brand foundation is essential because it serves as the guiding principle behind every decision a company makes. It creates a clear identity, aligns internal teams, and ensures consistent messaging across all communications. More importantly, it fosters trust and credibility, making it easier to connect with both employees and customers on a deeper level. By understanding their WHY, Elpress could articulate not just what they do but why it truly matters.

The process
From Strategy to Storytelling

With a clear WHY in place, it was time to translate it into a brand film – but not just any brand film. Elpress made one thing clear: they didn’t want a typical corporate video. They wanted something unexpected. Something that would create awareness without being overly technical or fear-inducing.

The Concept: The Curious Cookie

We explored three different creative directions, each with its own unique approach. The final choice? A story told through the eyes of a child. The narrative follows a curious young girl who constantly asks her father questions – until one day, she asks a particularly thought-provoking one:

“Why does everyone just assume that the food we buy is hygienic?”

This innocent yet powerful question forms the heart of the film. Instead of focusing on the problem, we took an optimistic approach, highlighting the unseen efforts that ensure food safety – efforts made possible by Elpress.

Racing Against Nature

With autumn fast approaching, production became a literal race against nature. We needed the perfect outdoor setting with vibrant foliage still on the trees. After careful scouting, we secured the ideal park location just in time.

The film visually transitions from a father-daughter moment in the park to a cinematic vision of Elpress machines working in a cookie factory – ensuring every step of the production process is hygienic. This seamless shift between personal storytelling and industrial expertise made the final film both relatable and impactful.

The Result

The final brand film melds imagination and insight, spotlighting Elpress’s core values through the curious mind of a child. It challenges viewers to think about the unseen processes that keep our food safe, while reinforcing Elpress’s mission to deliver peace of mind—one clean cookie at a time.
